Chameleon Cameron, thinks he can come and go.

Asked whether he could imagine "life outside" if he falls short at the election, Mr Cameron said one day he would "find something else to do" and that he hoped to continue being an MP.

Obviously he hasn't found anything.

Maybe it was right that he fell on his sword, after all it was his misjudgement that kicked it all off. Having committed himself to supporting Remain he would never have been convincing leading the negotiations to leave, exactly the same sentiments that that are being voiced now about Mrs May would have applied to him, probably even more so. It was right that he resigned and the honorable able thing to do.
Where he could be criticised is for not preparing for the results of a no vote.
