We usually go away before or after Christmas, but spend Christmas itself at home. I wouldn't mind going away - rent a cottage somewhere, but then you have to get in all the goodies, take the pressies with you - and what about a tree??We're not ones for the sun - rather have some pristine snow and a nice fire to get back to at Xmas. When I come to think about it - I can usually get that at home for free!

Being serious - no, I do not like being away at Christmas time. Have done it in the past - stayed in hotels or with distant family - much prefer to be at home !
