Just got back from Brazil

Yes got back this morning and is it cold or what? over there it was between 35c to 40c every day, too hot to do much.
We did go on a local "tourist" train ride stopping at stations which were used for the coffee plantations








the trains are something else, really old the carriage for example





It took 2 steam engines and a diesel to pull the train

where we stayed was in D-in-Laws bungalow in a gated community, so quite and peaceful apart from the parrots screetching. We had a Toucan land in a tree there as well as these running about by the swimming pool.

It is the 3rd time over there, my son married a Brazilian girl so we go and visit each year and see the grand daughters
