Re: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)

I've treated myself to two DVDs for Christmas - "Mr Turner" and "The Theory of Everything", two films I've wanted to see. Taking the boys to the flicks tomorrow afternoon to see the new J. K. Rowling film, "Fantastical Beasts". Thought we were going to have to go and buy Rob a new Christmas tree, his "died" during the night, but I've festooned it with a spare set of lights and will buy a new one in the sales after the event!

Re: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)

In Morrisons first thing this morning to pick up my order.Didn't have one item on my order so I had two other items free and a refund on the item they didn't have-can't fault that.
Special thoughts of my special Mother today as it would be her 100th birthday.Taken from me far too young.

Re: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)

I was in town to pick up the turkey crown at 8.30 am this morning and back home for tea and toast by 9.45 after picking up two forgotten items in the local supermarket. Then up to Church to run the cleaner over the carpet while a friend did the pedestal of flowers. Have wrapped the last of the presents and started hauling them downstairs (spare room has been the wrapping room!) and that's me done for the day. Relax, relax, relax.

It's horrible here, blowing a gale and pouring with rain - and I don't like the sound of the chimney pot rattling! Fingers crossed it stays put.....
