Off to U3A in a short while (with a friend who lives in the village and who is a member of Hay on Wye U3A. I didn't know that there was one in Hay until after I'd joined Brecon). The talk this morning is on Walter Wilkins, a solicitor in Brecon in the 1800s. I have heard of him before - think he was a bit of a 19thCentury whizz kid! Rosie can't make it today, she's only just come back from Italy and has to consult with her builder. Hope you get to go to U3A Celyn, it does inspire one to do more research. Thank goodness for the internet!

Weather not too bad this morning.Granddaughter's coming for lunch.She's requested Salmon,new pots and green beans so that's what we're having!

Lovely sunshine here so I forced myself out to Mumbles to pay a bill in the bank but I couldnt get back quick enough. Then I nearly reversed into a car when leaving my parking space OMG
Tesco is near opening , they are putting the shelving up.

Its been pouring all morning here. It was pouring at 6 a.m. A wee bit of sun at about 9 then pouring again!!

Been putting t to good use. Cleaning bathrooms and cloakroom.

Time for a break now I think.

Isn't this the weekend Nimby is doing her dancing. Yeovil? Actually I need to go to Yeovil for something but decided I haven't got the time.

It turned out quite a nice day here. no rain at least so I cleaned my window . Really exciting life I lead lol

It's been a grey day all day here. Looks just like November. Heating engineer came to minister to the Aga - although we managed to light it after running out of oil it wasn't happy and I couldn't get the oven temp above 240 - not a lot of use. I've just been sitting sewing, so quite liking a bit of TV now. Must get up early and go and do some shopping tomorrow, running out of all sorts of things. Hope I remember to take the shopping list!

Not too bad here today but I had a lousy night so not up to much today. I've got a DVD of the new series of Stella so might watch that later
I've not had much on in the way of heating this winter and realised that the flat above had put underfloor heating in so perhaps I'm getting the benefit

Bitterly cold this morning and it rained until mid afternoon. A lovely sunny evening but a bit late to enjoy.
