The friend who took me also has a donkey at our donkey sanctuary, called Pooh.

Lovely photos Tiffany. These places certainly do some wonderful work. We have a horse rescue centre not far from us too, started and run by an English couple, they do some amazing work with ill treated, abandoned and neglected horses. You might like to take a look, I know you love horses.

I looked at the link, I am glad it isn't just here we have rescue centres. Though in an ideal World, none should be necessary.

I wish they were not necessary tooTiffany, but somehow I think they always will be. Fortunately these days, here at least, atti tudes toward anmals are changing, new laws made, action taken, people heavily fined and even imprisoned, quite right too.

Until last year I was adopting two horses from Bransby rescue in Lincolnshire, but too far away & I never got to go there. The Mare & Foal sanctuary is on my doorstep so much closer & it's lovely to actually see & touch your adopted horse.
Anyone who lives near there might want to adopt one of theirs?
