Yes, it's all gone quiet, hasn't it?

The complaining woman has been given some 'quiet money' (which is what she really wanted), Phil and Liz are happy that they can carry on as before, and all have agreed to not discuss matters with the press.

(I have absolutely no proof of the veracity of my statement, by the way.)

I don't think we have heard anything about how fast the other car was going, have we?

I won't start speculating, but without all the facts, it's not fair to apportion all the blame purely to one party.

Well, it took a while but there's nothing like a bit of public opinion to get the royal arses in gear. All we need now is a statement from the police about what is to be done about it.
