Re: Boris climbs down.

Hi

This is not over, far from it.

Many ways things could go, Boris could simply refuse to go to the EU to ask for an Extension.

If he did that it would have to be overturned and that could not be done before October 31st.

Re: Boris climbs down.

Boris is very fond of Italy, but he should stop behaving like
Machiavelli.
MP's and the British public do not want a Dictator.

So he is coming down from his High Horse.

If boris refuses to enact a decision of the sovereign parliament (after all, government is the executive only) the Queen would have no option but to dismiss the incumbent Prime Minister and ask the appropriately placed person to form a new administration. In doing so, the Queen would not be playing politics: she would be acting as the ultimate guarantor of fundamental constitutional principle in a manner fully consistent with the nature of constitutional monarchy in the UK.
That appointed person would start by enacting the parliamentary decision to ask an extension.

Can anyone give me verifiable evidence of lies Boris has
told,, l dont mean the NORMAL lies we all expect politicians
to tell nowadays but real barefaced outright damaging lies!
I find he is no worse than any others in parliament and
When it comes to making scurrilous personal attacks on
opponents l find him to be far less inclined to employ those
tactics than others in parliament!
And in recent events l believe he has been enthusiastic has
stuck to his guns in the face of imo intolerable levels of
sabotage and underhand tactics that most of us would
commit murder over with great self control
And most importantly keeping his word or trying to, about
disengaging from europe?

Once we are in the backstop, there will be new, fancy name for it and all the other member states will follow, stripped of the last remaining parts of sovereignty, removal of their countries boundaries and instead, all of them becoming regions of the European Superstate governed, owned and dictated to by the Brussels mafia.

So what you are saying is the other 27 countries must all be stupid if they are going to sit there and just "lose their sovereignty".

Do you have any evidence for this hysterical claim?

Why aren't they all lining up to leave like us then?

I misread Machiavelli as Mussolini which on second thoughts is pretty apt.

Re: Boris climbs down.

Can anyone name a politician who has not lied to constituents in his constituency, especially when canvassing for votes.
Today politicians are telling us they must honour the wishes of the people but in their minds they know full well they have no intentions of doing so.
