Are Dachshunds The New ‘In’ Dogs?

I went to Brighton last week to visit one of my daughters.
The weather was beautiful, so there were crowds of people walking along the seafront.
I was amazed at the amount of dogs l saw but the usual cross poodle breeds were outnumbered by the amount of Dachshunds l saw. I have never seen so many Dachshunds in one place!

Are Dachshunds, the latest trend? Have you seen many lately?
I’m afraid l am not keen on the breed.

They are not my favourite breed .
Someone I know breeds them and sells them for £1500 pounds a pup.
Nasty little snappers they are too.

Can't say I've noticed any daschunds Arty, but the Dulux dogs seem to becoming popular up here again, despite the grooming issues.

It would seem so, as a litter of 6 miniature daschund pups (too young to leave their mother) were stolen this week (10th Sept) from somewhere in Stone, Staffordshire.
Phone the police if anyone knows of them.

I have seen quite a few recently. There's even one at Murtagh's training session.

The advert might been the reason for their popularity.

Not all are nasty. My friend had 3 long coated Daschunds, the newest, then a pup would follow me around the house when I used to dog sit. Henry was very lovable & cuddly too. The other two were older & more grown up, but still sweet natured.
