I thinks it's fair to say that we are fairly conservative in what we eat but, having said that, I'm not against trying new things as we sometimes do when on holiday.

Yes, I'm very adventurous in the kitchen. In fact, only tonight I thought about trying something different, but deferred to an old and tested meal which I've mentioned in the other Food section.

However, today I bought some Proscuitto ham which I've never tried before, and am thinking about wrapping that around some chicken stuffed with home-made stuffing, sealing in cling wrap, then slow cooking in water, or mayhap roasting in oil.

Hmm, mebbe it will work - mebbe it won't - but it sounds okay as a thought!

When we are lazy we get in a rut. Something comes around to get us excited. I listen to a food lady on KCRW or read something in the LA Weekly, see something on line- might get me going.

Yes Baggy darlin' - I'm adventurous when it comes to food - like all different sorts of meat - I just love all my 'safari' meats my butcher gets for me. Haven't yet tried the ...... dare I say it??? - goat meat but would 'go for it' if offered.

I'm happy to be adventurous in a restaurant but not in the kitchen, I didn't inherit my mother's love of cooking so I'd be really miffed if I'd put time and effort in and tasted awful.
