Re: Favourite summer drink?

I very rarely drink anything alcoholic but you can´t beat a long cold glass of sangria in the summer.

Re: Favourite summer drink?

If non-alcoholic I like Peach flavour ice-tea. Lidl do a decent one and it's a lot cheaper than Lipton, the main-brand one.

Alcoholic, well, that's a toughy. I like a cold bottle of beer, the small not-too-alcoholic ones you get here in France, but also a nice chilled rose wine with maybe a dash of crème de pampelmousse in it (14 degrees alcohol grapefruit cordial stuff). Sounds weird but it really tastes great!

You can't drink it neat it's nasty like that, but in pink wine it goes down a treat. Makes a cheaper wine taste better and adds a certain, oh yes, why not have another? factor to the day - hic -

Sounds good to me, but I have to be VERY careful as alcohol doesn't mix too well with my medication, - my Doctors don't like me, trying to get rid of me, feeding me rat poison (warfarin).
