Twin Towers - still the conspiracy garbage continues
I've opened this thread simply because it seemed somehow Inn appropriate to discuss the various conspiracy theories that sprang up about this awful islamic activist attack.So here goes.
It was an Islamic attack. There was no US government involvement. Ok

Strange that ! As there was only a skeleton staff on at the Pentagon on that day , must have been pure coincidence ?Plus there are no photographs of the plane that supposedly flew into the Pentagon at the bottom of the building on that day. Plenty of pictures of scraps, but no plane. Hole yes, smoke yes, fire yes, but no plane !

The second is silly. The kinetic energy released when a 737 weighing around 65 tonnes and travelling at around 400 mph hits a hardened structure it is sufficient to totally shred the thing into tiny bits.
Since the energy that has been released will have been around 5e19 Joules it's hardly surprising!
Edited to add - a joule is I watt of energy dissipated for one second.
5 to the nineteenth watts dissipated in substantially less than a second would be enough to really spoil someone's day if they were near its being released!
