HUBRIS, what a great word to drop into the posts. I used to mix it up, no idea why, with flotsam & jetsom. It sounds as if it is something thrown overboard & bobbing about in the sea.

I can never remember its exact meaning so I had to look it up.

HUBRIS means extreme pride or arrogance. Hubris often indicates a loss of contact with reality and an overestimation of one's own competence or capabilities, especially when the person exhibiting it is in a position of power.

So I guess it could apply to either MJ or MT>simples ennit

None of them meant anything special to me, but one singer had a profound effect on my life, the lovely Brenda Lee. When my girlfriend walked out on me I was very sad and when I went home and turned on Radio Luxemburg she just happened to be singing "All alone am I", it was the best cry I had since my granny died, never forget it.
