Lucky blighter!

Who do you think has had the best/most interesting/charmed life?
My vote would go to David Attenborough, what a wonderful time he's had & what a lot of wonderful knowledge he's passed on! He's still going strong, must be 80 odd!

I remember David Attenborough and his nature programmes when I was a kid in the 50s. I don't know about a charmed life, but I think he has worked very hard over the years to bring these wonderful programmes to our screens.

Me, I ain't done much for other folks, but I have been in some interesting positions, and charmed when necessary, the journey has been enlightening(from my point of view), but this ain't about me, we are looking for a Celeb, so lets go for Richard Branson.

The original 'barrow boy' imo, Alan Sugar for me,( plus I reckon his 'version' of Celebrity Apprentice was the best)

I think the Duke of Edinburgh is ok, and the Queen is WONDERFUL. God help us all if we were living in some socialist 'paradise' or more accurately hell-hole!

Re: Lucky blighter!

For me it has to be Jacques Cousteau, who travelled the world on his boat, Calypso, investigating the oceans and making amazing underwater film documentaries. I had become interested in the undersea world due to the BBC TV series by Hans & Lotte Hass, and when Jacque Cousteau's TV series came out in the late '60's it was wonderful. We couldn't afford colour TV, but the programmes were still a glimpse into a beautiful but alien world. I never became a marine biologist, but if I had, it would have been because of Jacques Cousteau.
