Re: Mouth Ulcers??

I wonder if you can get Alum over there Moli .......... I used to use dab that on ulcers years ago and it numbed them and soon dried them up.

Bi-carbonate of soda powder dabbed on the ulcer is also good...... it will sting at first but will help get rid of it.

I was going to say alum too, don't actually know if it's still available. I have a jar that's ages old (you don't use it much!) and it does dry them up nicely.

I use Bonjela gel.
I think you get them when you`re a bit run down - maybe you should have some R&R?

I have had almost 3 weeks of R&R, sitting in this apartment in Houston, taking myself off for a walk now and then, the odd bit of washig and ironing...really done very little..Maybe thats the problem, always on the go at home...Never mind back to it all this Saturday....

The pharmacy in the supermarket might have it. Or a CVS pharmacy if you have them in Houston. It's an old fashioned remedy; I suspect it may not be stocked.

One of the toothache gels might work to ease the pain; doubt if it would help dry it up though.
