The past couple of day's weather have really uplifted me.

Not exactly warm, but warmer than before and with mostly clear skies and the wind changing direction so no more rain or haar from the East.

That is good to hear Ffosse, there is nothing nicer than to wake up to see the sun shinning. It is such a warm fuzzy feeling and we get (like you say) uplifted. ]

We are in the middle of a bad ice/snow storm right now, but this week the weather will change and it will melt, then hopefully the winter will be behind us.

It's been a long, cold winter for here. The weather is nicer but I don't like it when it's grey and light 'til 8:30 especially in June when it's often grey 'til 10:30 at night before getting dark.

I just love a nice bit of rain when it is mild and windless. So fresh, with the earth rejoicing. It's like being in the Lake district.
