What on earth do early risers do in winter ? I couldn't bear to go to bed in the dark and get up in the dark !
Very rarely I'm in bed before midnight and I don't nap during the day ,never feel the need to .

The surgeon thought it went well.

One of our kindly neighbours drove us to the hospital and back home again afterwards. He also looked after Max, my dog, for the day. Even took him for a walk with his two.

I did that for years – it's called working permanent night shifts to earn a living!

I do everything I do in daylight like go for my daily walk before 7am.

Sunrise in the UK in wintertime is not before 7 a.m and if you get up at 6.30 as you said are you saying you go straight out walking soon as you're up and dressed ? Crikey !

That is exactly what I do. I dislike walking as my feet are quite painful, but it is necessary for one's health to have a daily walk, so I like to get it over and done with for the day. When I get back I either do my chores, or if it is a Monday I go to the supermarket first, a couple of miles away, before the roads get too busy.
