Cancer gene singled out

Researchers have singled out a cancer gene for the first time, it's a big breakthrough in the fight against this awful disease, lets hope that they make the most of it on the way to a cure.

Cancer is a very complex disease; I certainly hope this will advance the chances for a cure some day.

Maybe now they will be able to advance a bit further with their research-lets hope so. Cancer is a dreadful disease and like dandysmom says very complex.

I hope they continue to make progress in this field.

And I hope they look into environmental factors too - like quality of food. The way some food is manufactured would make your blood boil!

I agree Azz, I think we are bombarded with too many chemicals.

I hope that they find the gene and soon.
