Re: Bucket and To do List

That's boring, Emjay. How about just kicking the bucket?

I would if I had a bucket to kick.
Boring? Going to get on with a project that I started yesterday.
Converting a model land yacht to a fan driven dragster.

That sounds like an interesting project. Do you need a hand with that?
If so, don't ask me. I'm busy

Re: Bucket and To do List

1. Spend a day with The Dalai Lama

2. Go on a real cattle drive. (not one of those tourist deals)

3. See a NASA launch in person.

4. Go see the Genghis Kahn exhibit at the Franklin Institute in Philadelphia. (actually going to do this one next month.)

5. Get shot out of a cannon.

Yea, that should about do it.

That's it Ej the doers get on and do it the others sit and think about it

Re: Bucket and To do List

No real bucket list for me. Might have had a few goals if circumstances had been different but they aren't ..so I haven't.

Life can still be enjoyable without a 'to do' list though.

Done it. If I was to fit a wing on it, it would fly.
Now what's next, bigger motor and prop?

Re: Bucket and To do List

My bucket list is:
do a skydiving jump - my late husband, when he was in the military was a paratrooper (82nd Airborne Division), and we spoke about me doing a skydiving jump ! so I will do one and will take his Para wings up with me.
and would like to go up in a hot air balloon and a trip to Israel.

Re: Bucket and To do List

You're a better woman than I am gungadin !
Skydiving would terrify me .
Although I would like to try one of those indoor skydiving things that let you fly without going too high.
Ditto air balloons them there baskets look downright flimsy
I would defer the visit to Israel just now as they are having a wave of terror people being stabbed in the the street and on public transport.
If you do decide to do Isreal try to visit Jordan at the same time it's only next door . It's an amazing country with many ancient biblical sites as well and the fantastic hidden city of Petra .

Re: Bucket and To do List

All I would like is a couple of days somewhere where there's a quiet beach towels on and a nice man to hold my hand (and drive there and back), not much to some but, all I'd like.

You need to Steampunk that Emjay and turn it into a dirigible!
