Grandaddy – Alan Parsons In A Winter Wonderland

Sensational Alex Harvey Band – There’s No Light On The Christmas Tree Mother

Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers – Christmas All Over Again

I was trying to post 'Grandma got run over by a reindeer' too Floydy. I loved the Greedies.

Yes, weird that.

The Greedies single is brilliant and a perfect combination of musical styles. Obviously made after Rotten left but Jones' guitar with that twin-guitar sound of Thin Lizzy is great. Phil Lynott does a great vocal too. I've got an early pressing of the single which is very collectable when the band was initially called The Greedy B*stards!

Great example, Joe
Even though this song is very popular it's still very much in the 'alternative' genre of a Christmas song, i.e. it's hardly a carol is it? And bloody Cliff is nowhere in sight thank God!!

A brilliant original single and I bet you particularly like the word "scumbag" which appears in the song
