Ps in the garden

Have you seen this article about the gardeners in a stately home relieving themselves on a bale of straw, which will eventually be added to the compost to create the perfect addition to the garden?
Eco friendly because it's good for the garden, doesn't waste whatever nutrients are within the liquid and doesn't use water to flush or water treatment at the sewage works.
Apparently female p's are more acid and not quite as good. Also not as easy to effect in the middle of a garden either!

Men can get away with it ok but I can't imagine four women squatting there, can you?

Re: Ps in the garden

I liked the bit where he said they "Don't use it during opening hours as we don't want to scare the visitors"

It is true 'tho that it helps the composting process and don't tell anyone but I've done it on ours (When no one was looking of course )

Re: Ps in the garden

Like the old song...
I sits among the cabbages - and peas.....
I had an allotment once. I dug it and manured it and rotated crops and stuff. I was the only woman. But I knew I`d gained acceptance when one of the old guys shyly took me over to the stand-pipe the blokes used as a loo...and hanging beside it was a brand new toilet seat...for you ladies to use, he said.
Luckily I only lived round the corner.

Re: Ps in the garden

I had heard about the p in the compost but I thought it was supposed to be from the male variety, don't know why men and not women though, it helps with the decomposition

They reckon we've each got an atom from everyone who's ever lived.
So, be proud of your St Francis atom, hide the Hitler one and revel in the Mae West/Errol Flynn

Remember the horse poo started off as sweet grass and hay!
It's a circle. not a line
