Snow damage to plants

Has anyone else got snow damage to plants .

My carefully nurtured purple sprouting broccoli has been damaged by the heavy snow, the leaves have been broken off so not expecting much of a crop now

Gardening is such a battle, if it isn't pests it's the weather
