Third day of rain down here, my exciting day started with early morning 'snail picking', going school shoe shopping with my grandaughter later and we'll stop by at Burger King.

It's a grand Monday here even in total darkness at 4:30 in the morning. We had a sprinkle yesterday but all that is behind us. We're supposed to get back to spectacular weather again today. We live it up big for the 3 dry months a year we get in the Pacific Northwest because come mid-October we put our flippers & goggles back on for the next 9 months. LOL

There are two ways to welcome the day.

Some of us got up early and did major surgery on a rampant rose bush and a bay that had pretentions to become a tree.

Others got up later,put the washing machine on and hung out her washing just before we left to go swimming.

Gardeners watch the weather but keep their mouths shut-others just take it in after a torrential downpour and load up the tumble dryer

Hi all. Delightful sunny morning, although a bit cooler than normal 24 C (76 F); rain predicted for the afternoon. . No errands, a lie in and pottering.

Evening all....walking, (not singing!) in the rain this morning then after dinner caught up with ironing then my friend came round for cuppa and we passed the afternoon away chatting.........
