Hi all, Another day in the string of lovely late Summer weather days: 24 C (75 F) now, not a cloud in the sky, no rain predicted for the next 7 days. A Bermuda high is plunked right atop of us so will remain gorgeous and warmer. No errands (enough library books), so just the usual lie in and few chores this morning.

Hope it's a lovely day for all.

A nice day so far. We went to mum`s to take her out for lunch and then to a farm shop for her to get some veg.

I went to the butcher in the village(the one with an on sight abbatoir) and they asked after Jenny who remained in the car as the butcher`s shop is quite cold. Mr Evans senior went out to say hello and to wish her well.

That is what I call quality service
