Re: Sun, Sea and Sandals .....

The City isn't all concrete. We have a marvellous park system, I'm a block and a half from the woods, where I can escape to nature any time I want. We have deer, rabbits, opossums, raccoons, foxes; streams with minnows and crawfish, and a multitude of birds.

It's surprising just how varied a place can be. Sometimes from a busy Town, you can be just a 10 minute drive to somewhere so quiet and peaceful, that civilisation seems light years away!

Re: Sun, Sea and Sandals .....

Having lived near both the countryside and seaside towns now for many years, I like it. But I am a "City" chick - Glasgow and I still miss living there!
