Human Verification Question - What's the answer?

While attempting a search of the site, without being logged in, I was confronted with this:

Human Verification Question (to prevent automated 'bots' signing up)

If you minus 10 years to the age that this site is aimed at - what would that age be?
I have no idea .....

Anyone .....

It's obvious it's 40 isn't it? Even a small child could do the math on that. Did you not bother with school Omah? Is that why everything you post is derived from the internet? Lol!

My maths is up to 'A' Level standard, as is my English grammar ....

Obviously, your knowledge of English grammar has limits otherwise you would know that "minus" is not a verb, but a preposition, adjective or noun .....

It was 40 when I realised I'd forgotten my password and had to ask for a new one. Thankfully the new one came through quite fast.
