Re: Where the plastic goes
Having seen something about erecting statues recently,
I was struck by an idea of killing rwo birds with one stone
by using recycled plastic to construct the statues?
Instead of using bronze or stone etc?
This would be considerably cheaper to do, as well as dispose
of large amounts of plastic rubbish, the larger the statue
the more plastic is disposed of? The statues would be long
lasting as we are told it lasts forever?? It would also use
less energy to produce as plastic has a lower melting point
than bronze etc, and could be colour fast as well and so
would only need hosing down to keep clean and would'nt
need specialist cleaning services in later years!
I am sure the elite people requiring a statue of themselves
or their relatives would have any objections to assist!ng in
helping the enviroment in this way??
