To be honest Azz the last time you offered us a set of choices,most opted for two of those. You then ignored this and did what you wanted,so i wont bother with this.

I like things 'new' if they are interesting and beneficial. Giving members an option of posting their own news gives a great psychological boast IMO. members can feel more in control and more responsible for the site in general. I like the idea in itself but the psychological benefits are thing are very significant. When can we start?

What is stopping you doing that now ? we already have sections for almost everything just start a new thread.

I think you are missing the point - go back and read the original opening comments again - this is not about doing something that has not been done but doing differently and with more of a customer focus [ like we are the customers!]

I am a member on dogsey and post almost daily I think I get the idea very well what happens is we discuss the news items posted on the front page so any disagreements are front page news not something that will attract new members if the arguments are petty or nasty.

I'd go for this one Azz or try a new style for a while - the regulars seem a bit set in their ways don't you think?
