I have never taken any interest in motor cars, unlike my brother who currently has 5 "custom cars".I changed my motor car last year and he enquired "What model have you chosen Rob", bless him for he wasn't surprised to hear me reply "It' a red one David"
I have been fortunate to have my vehicles serviced and cared for by the dealers who supplied them. Now I don't drive any longer, since 2005, I don't even open the bonnet, figuring a little knowledge being a dangerous thing.
Between 1976 and 1995 I was more attentive & drove on average 40,000 miles per annum.
