The film was so so, but along with a great soundtrack, it instantly turned Kevin Bacon into a pop culture icon.

Just love Hans Zimmer. I've just watched this Movie Inception for the 3rd time, trying to figure it out. Might just have cracked it!

This was always a big deal for me and my mates back in the day. It's still a powerful piece of music.

Re: Some Great Soundtracks from some good films

Thank you for posting them guys, the Apollo 13 I remember and its nice to be reminded of a great soundtrack.

John, Devo....glad you posted these soundtracks as they were totally new to me, and well worth listening to.

Yes I agree a soundtrack with a film can sometimes emit a powerful vibe

Must include this in the collection...

This is the opening theme but it's also repeated as Superman rescues Lois Lane as she falls from a skyscraper. Very dynamic.

One of my favourite films, in large part because of the brilliant music...

Being a movie buff could not resist posting on this thread.
So many great themes from movies I have watched over the years but I will keep my selections short.

Re: Some Great Soundtracks from some good films

The best music soundtrack ever must be the sound track from "Easy Rider"

Yes/No? I still play it pretty regularly on Spotify.

Not usually a fan of film soundtracks but this one is pretty good.

Then of course there is always Zabriski Point sometimes rated the worst film ever made but I enjoyed it very much at the time (might have been the acid) and it has Pink Floyd
