A story about spaghetti
When I moved to The Philippines and set up my apartment, I was looking forward to having my 1st dinner guest.While talking with an attractive woman, I asked her if she'd like to come over for dinner ? She said yes, and I then asked her if she liked spaghetti ? She made a face and replied, 'Oh, no. I hate spaghetti'. Thinking that she had never had real Italian spaghetti, I asked her where she had ever tried spaghetti ? She said. "At McDonald's. They have McSpaghetti".
Naturally, I immediately knew that McSpaghetti , which I never heard of, must be awful, probably nauseating.
(I later learned that McSpagetti is only made in The Philippines. Thank, God)
I asked her what she really liked ? She replied, "Rice". I chuckled and told her, "Ok. If you are a good girl, I'll cook rice. If you are a bad girl, I'll make spaghetti". She thought that was so funny.
To make a long story, short, I served her my delicious spaghetti with meat sauce, of which I'm rather proud.
She loved it.
The rest, as they say, is history.
