Fledged from the hedge!

A couple of Squabs:

Fat wood pigeons have been feeding well from my bird table and causing a kerfuffle in the hedge for a while now, then the plump fledglings emerged today in the rain.

I'm keeping my cats indoors as these twins seem a bit confused about social distancing! I could have touched them, they just sat there and posed!

Thanks Muddy! They're called Pidge and Podge, their parents are Doris and Ernie.

Re: Fledged from the hedge!

Aren't they gorgeous, they look well fed too.

Love their names, Pidge and Podge,

I looked after a pigeon that had been attacked by a cat three years ago, I used to call him Pidge. He was with me for three weeks before he was strong enough to fly away. I used to feed him every day and he was a Podge by the time he left!
