Only by chance did l watch the end of Gardeners’ World the other day and caught an interview with a really good presenter (who l googled because he was so good) who was talking to the singer Will Young.Will Young’s garden was beautiful and he had lovely dogs too.
Next, Monty Donn came on and l noticed he had a retriever, who must have been Nigel?
How sad that, that was the first and last time, l ever saw Nigel.

He had two lovely Goldies, Art. That is why I said his other dog will miss his friend.
Tess I didn't know about the Yorkie. I will have to look out for that.

We always liked seeing Nigel. He loved following Monty about with his tennis ball but mostly he liked lazing about. I remember when Nelly first appeared and she made a right nuisance of herself but eventually she and Nigel got on ok. When I saw the new puppy, I had an idea that Nigel would soon be off to Rainbow Bridge.Farewell Nigel - TV Star.
