You might find the queuing at supermarkets is not too bad now if you choose the hours you shop, if you have to use them that is. A watchful eye needs to be kept then if you get an electric scooter, I can just visualise pedestrians running for cover as you zoom round the shops!
Heh,heh,...on 2nd thoughts I think a shopping trolley would be safer

Re: Over 50's Club Scotland (part 3)

Morning, Very very foggy in the woods this morning, quite creepy in places lol. Am delighted the 5mile distance is lifting on the 3rd and next Thursday Himself and I will be driving overnight back to Perth and my house at last. Himself for a few days break and me for a few weeks and looking forward to seeing everyone again. Going to the butcher later today as I need to get busy with the slow cooker and freezing meals so Himself won't run out of food while I'm away.
Have a nice day Ladies.

I like the way Nicola Sturgeon will not be bullied or drawn into political ping pong. She clearly states her reasons for proposed actions and berates the opposition parties for trying to score political points while adding nothing positive. If only the other political parties would work with the Government to do the best for all of us. That is equally applicable to Westminster.

Re: Over 50's Club Scotland (part 3)

Should have said good afternoon before ranting. So, good afternoon, and hope you have all survived the hot, hot, hot weather today. I pottered about for a wee while in the garden but indoors was much cooler. The seaside sounds lovely May. I have always longed for a view of water from my house. Unfortunately I would get even less housework done as water is ever changing and I could look at it for hours. Seeing the crowds down south doesn't make me want to go anywhere fast. Maybe Jess can put in a good word and we could have a private beach party, closed to all but OFF members next month! Have a nice evening.

WOW IT'S A HOTTIE THE DAY. Had to come in before I melt in a puddle, my skin is feeling very tight bet I'll leap when I get a shower later.
We can see the ocean from our back door across the fields, but not the beach, just the headland and the ocean, can also see Hoy the nearest of the Orkneys.

Good morning ladies. A lot cooler here this morning thank goodness. I didn't sit out yesterday till four o clock with a factor 30 sun cream and a hat in the shade. I can see Aran and Millport from my windows, then Rothsey when I'm out for a walk. Hopefully it will be quiet here today. Washing fixed it was a five pound note stuck in the filter.

Morning (just) I'm glad it's a bit cooler today too, give me time to recover from yesterday's heat. I'd not be the slightest bit of good in a hot country lol.
Walked the beach early on and it was pleasant with a slight breeze blowing in. Just pluttering about here the rest of the day..
