Morning, Very very foggy in the woods this morning, quite creepy in places lol. Am delighted the 5mile distance is lifting on the 3rd and next Thursday Himself and I will be driving overnight back to Perth and my house at last. Himself for a few days break and me for a few weeks and looking forward to seeing everyone again. Going to the butcher later today as I need to get busy with the slow cooker and freezing meals so Himself won't run out of food while I'm away.Re: Over 50's Club Scotland (part 3)
Good morning ladies and Baz. May theirs gey few Tories in Scotland. Beki I did a bit in the back garden yesterday when it was shady. May I hate shopping trolleys with a passion, their is always someone ready to run over your feet. Roxy that does look quite eerie in the woods this morning. My hairdresser phoned yesterday and she will be opening on the 17th of July cant wait to get my hair done.Re: Over 50's Club Scotland (part 3)
Afternoon Each,phew!..what a scorcher..no walking, shopping,or gardening for Me today, sat under the garden parasol for a wee while, then went into the SH but it's like an oven,so back indoors for a cuppa & a salad sandwich for lunch, maybe go back out for a wee doze on the lounger later as I didn't sleep too well last night what with the heat and My itching eyes with hayfever….I so wish I was at the seaside having a paddle...soon....I hope it doesn't rain every day next Month when We're allowed to travel further afield ....Have a great day all and stay safe xxxRe: Over 50's Club Scotland (part 3)

Should have said good afternoon before ranting. So, good afternoon, and hope you have all survived the hot, hot, hot weather today. I pottered about for a wee while in the garden but indoors was much cooler. The seaside sounds lovely May. I have always longed for a view of water from my house. Unfortunately I would get even less housework done as water is ever changing and I could look at it for hours. Seeing the crowds down south doesn't make me want to go anywhere fast. Maybe Jess can put in a good word and we could have a private beach party, closed to all but OFF members next month! Have a nice evening.Re: Over 50's Club Scotland (part 3)
WOW IT'S A HOTTIE THE DAY. Had to come in before I melt in a puddle, my skin is feeling very tight bet I'll leap when I get a shower later.Re: Over 50's Club Scotland (part 3)
Good morning ladies. A lot cooler here this morning thank goodness. I didn't sit out yesterday till four o clock with a factor 30 sun cream and a hat in the shade. I can see Aran and Millport from my windows, then Rothsey when I'm out for a walk. Hopefully it will be quiet here today. Washing fixed it was a five pound note stuck in the filter.Re: Over 50's Club Scotland (part 3)
Morning (just) I'm glad it's a bit cooler today too, give me time to recover from yesterday's heat. I'd not be the slightest bit of good in a hot country lol.Re: Over 50's Club Scotland (part 3)
Good Afternoon Folks, was awakened around 6am by thunder and heavy rain so it's much cooler here now and I had back & front doors open while catching up with the housework...Fed up with salads so have a pot o' Irish stew cooking on the stove which I'll have with jersey royals & cabbage for dinner...have a good weekend all and stay safe,xx
