Are you at the petrol station BC?I was playing British Bulldog at school when I was about 8 years old.
It was somewhat rougher than the Tiggy equivalent of nowadays.
I was one of the last ones to be caught and I happened to have one of those round lollies in my mouth.
I was sent crashing to the ground and my lolly departed from its orifice.
As I was coming to accept my unrequested level of discomfort whilst being laid out, one of my classmates returned my lolly to me with the words " here's your lolly Polly "
That bloody nickname Polly then stuck with me throughout my school years.
Ronald Taylor, you have a lot to answer for!
