I Am Sitting Here With My Thumb In A Mug Of Hot Soapy Water... Why?

Can you guess why l should be doing such a bizarre thing with one hand, whilst typing away with the other?

The bod in the first-aid room at my old firm many years ago did that to me when my thumbnail got separated from my thumb. Having a poorly thumb dipped in hot water and Dettol wasn't very pleasant.

Have you done the same sort of thing?

You are testing the heat of it, prior to using it to get blackheads out of your nose.

Better with cold soapy water to get a ring off - hot water makes your fingers swell up.
