Really sad when the good un's go.
I used to love Maverick and thought with Jack Kelly as his Brother
and Roger Moore as their cousin Beau it was funny as well as full
of lovely looking men.
One of the best movies for comedy that I liked was
Support your Local Sherriff. If you can get a copy
you will find it hilarious. Plus of course one of his biggest
parts was in The Great Escape with Steve McQueen.

Loved watching him in the Rockford Files as everyone else.

Yes, he was a fine actor & I thought he was very successful. He had done a series of camera commercials here with Mariette Hartley back in the late 70's & everyone always thought they were married in real life.

Once I asked my mother in law if she liked James Garner & she had said "I always thought he was kind of hot"
