Carol, I hope your leg heals well. I know it's no fun having a cast on. But with the money you got back on your tickets, treat yourself to something special!

Jackie darlin' - I used to work for British Rail - at a time when it was a nationalised industry. Railwaymen, when they have 'accidents' are not prone to 'minor cuts and bruises' so the sight of blood holds no qualms for me - have seen enough of it in my time.

I can't handle it at all! I've got a very weak stomach, and black out at the sight of blood!
The last time it happened I got 3 stitches in my chin!

My first job (temporary before joining Merchant Navy) was in an engineering factory. A metal beam dropped on my head and split my head open - Nurse at the hospital had to stitch it without anaesthetic as the skin was too shallow to administer local anaesthetic to the area first.

Jackie darlin' if I was 'delighting' in it I could tell you stories that would have you 'fainting' on the floor, but I won't do that to you.
