Well better we see ourselves honestly than just see the positives surely ? None of us are all good we all have bad bits about us even sensitivity can be a bad trait when it is just over sensitive about yourself and no sensitivity about what you are saying to others.

Too ruddy soft.

I try to see the best in folk but since Jenny passed away I have dated a couple of women. I`m not saying they were `Gold Diggers` but they sure spent a lot of my money, wasted a lot of my time and of course every thing was my fault.

That's a shame - I like to see the soft side in a man, not nice to be taken advantage of though. Hope you find a good companion, not too much to ask is it

Sadly I think it's harder out there these days, lots of people out for themselves never asking what they can give just what they can take.

Re: How would you describe yourself?

What worries/concerns me is that after being `screwed` twice I have put up so many barriers so that if I ever did meet someone who could help the great big hole in my heart she might find me a little distant at first.

That's completely understandable but unless you have a bi of a barrier you risk being hurt again. Anyone worth having will understand that I think.

I would say be yourself, if the gal is attracted to the real you, that's good. Just take your time to really know the person, ask questions - find out the 'real' her, what her likes are, what would she like to achieve in the future, her dislikes, just take the process slow .......
