Who remembers the "what is it" thread

Thinking of running it again as we have a lot of new members. Anyone interested?

What I and another member have done in the past is take a photo of an object and you have to guess what it is

before that let me explain how it is done

I use 2 tripods, one with a CN-160 light and the other with a Manfrotto with the arm extended sideways and a macro lens on a nikon D800. that is with a pistol grip for the camera
Now just taking a picture is impossible without a remote trigger device ,preferabbly wireless to stop camera shake. For this i use a Phottix transmitter and receiver

This is the setup hope is is clear enough to see
