Re: Is Family Christmas to be legally Wrecked?

I think we would be making mistake to have a family Christmas after all these months of being careful.

Got to be firm to be kind in my opinion. I don't want to have the usual sort of Christmas at the expense of a possible infection for family members. Nobody knows what contact with others the gathering may have had, or if there is undetected infection in any of us. Then they go away after the Christmas gathering and see others ..and so on.

The situation will (hopefully) only be for one Christmas out of the 70 plus Christmases people hope to see in a lifetime. Maybe not so bad if thought of like that.

I agree Mart , I discussed with my family weeks ago that whatever is announced I won't be joining them for Christmas.

And as we are likely to be in ' a low tier' here I want my grandchildren to be able to go out and enjoy Christmas shopping in town and meeting friends in their 'school bubble' without having to hold back for fear of infecting Nanna Meg.

Only 4 of us here & two households so not a problem & we, I think, are in the lowest tier also.

Just the two of us this year, the cases in Bristol have been rising worryingly. We are expecting to be in the top tier.

It's just not worth risking anything at the moment, we are thinking positive and trying to convince ourselves we will have our freedom one day.

Re: Is Family Christmas to be legally Wrecked?

NSW is easing restrictions for Christmas allowing family gatherings of up to 50 outdoors.

Personally my gathering will be six including me, four from the ACT the rest from NSW.

That'll do.
