Not so!!! - there were several MPs (all Tories) who were caught committing misdemeanours during Major's premiership - some of them had their hands in the pocket of Mohammed Al-Fayed and were being paid by him for asking questions (on his behalf) in the 'house' and it was only when the news broke that some of them as junior ministers were forced to resign. One of them (David Willetts) is even now a Cabinet Minister in Cameron's cabinet.

She will have to go some time.

Thought Cameron learned his lesson after Coulson.

Although in the fight for equality I would suggest she should go and the party should address the lack of women separately.

Very perceptive... she is also the product of the State school system and a women.

Not a word from Miliband or the Labour benches yet.

Old Tories are not so silent.

After seeing tonight's news and hearing that Norman Tebbitt says that she should go, I think her days are numbered.

Again Sue not so, I just happen to have a very good memory of certain things. Merely because its inconvenient for you to remember these things, doesn't mean the rest of us don't remember or sweep them under the carpet.

I don't think anyone wants things swept under the carpet UJ just keeping it to recent times means keeping us concentrating on what they are doing now there is a danger in looking back too much we may miss what is happening now. Certainly don't forget but bringing it into every thread dilutes the message IMO.

Not at all Julie darlin' - I'm just recalling and reminding people of what a bunch of crooks the Tories were and still are!!!
