Brandy in the tea

My father always enjoyed a drop of Brandy in his cup of tea i sometimes do myself. Do many still do this in these modern times?

My Dad used to do it Doc, and the mother in law, it didn't do them any harm either, they both lived into their 90's, I haven't seen it being done in years.

Doc it used to be scotch in tea and brandy or rum in coffee
I like that latter can't stand scotch in anything *shudders *

It's a slippery slope. First one cap in your tea .....then two....then tree...then fore...then hife .

it reminds me of my old aunties ...havn't seen any of that for years ' the smell would make me gag ....

Whiskey in my tea for me too. It's affectionately known as Christmas tea in this house as that was when we were allowed it as kids.

I like a tot of brandy, now and again. I love it in coffee, but the thought of having it in tea...

I would never drink whisky but - in tea its so nice, I have half a cap, just right
It is for medicinal purposes of course, started the trend recently

In Spain they put brandy in the coffee and then light a match to it so it burns for a bit. Spaniards call it ... carajillo ...
