Covid Risk Levels.

Hi

If you are over 60 you will have a Covid Risk Level assigned to you.

I did not know this until yesterday, when I got my report which the hospital were not happy to give.

In spite of the fact that I have heart failure I am classified as Covid Risk 3, low risk.

This means that if I do get it and am admitted I will get the full treatment.

Others in class 1 and 2 will not.

It is an algorithm, based on age and medical conditions and your ability to respond to treatment.

The Doctor who explained it was very blunt.

You have beaten the odds before, so you will be treated,, you are very lucky in that respect.

I have a projection of my lifespan, which is not very good, but which I intend to beat.

Covid is a serious problem, but one I intend to beat.
