Re: Missing Cat

Thank you so much everyone for all the good wishes and very helpful suggestions especially yours Mags.
The thing with cats is that they get into all kinds of places, he may have gone into a delivery vehicle and be anywhere or he may have been hit by a car, the list is endless.
I hate to think of him suffering somewhere that is the worse thing.
Orang that was a very young age when your cat disappeared.

Re: Missing Cat

My friend's cat went missing for three days recently, which was out of the blue for her. My friend was worried sick about her. She turned up one morning, right as rain. Not a clue of where she'd been. I hope your wee cat turns up. They're one of the family.

Re: Missing Cat

I'm so sorry to hear about your cat Anita, let's hope that he comes back home soon. I think its the worst thing when you don't know where they are, I would be in tears all the time.

Re: Missing Cat

Thank you, yes you're right it's much worse not knowing and thinking he may be suffering somewhere. If he'd been ill and put to sleep Id be really sad but not so worried and anxious as this.
I contacted all the local vets and the cat protection and even the council in case anyone asks them to take away a body. I've done a leaflet drop locally but there are thousands of homes in the immediate area where I live. I couldn't do all of them.
I'm hoping really that he was in an accident and died quickly, he wouldn't have wandered off as he loved nothing more than being at home only going out for short periods.

Re: Missing Cat

Anita, I seriously wouldn't give up hope yet. I've heard so many stories of cats disappearing for days on end, then reappearing when it suits them. Wee besoms! Perhaps someone is feeding him. You just don't know x

Re: Missing Cat

Myra's right, my lovely cat went missing for 15 days, I was beside myself with worry and deeply distressed, on the 15th day I found her coming out of a neighbour's garden looking dishevelled but unhurt, I've never felt so happy and relieved.
