Re: New Look Loos

Give me a vintage Armitage Shanks any day.
A couple of yanks on the chain and you were all done and dusted!

Re: New Look Loos

I think they are quite nice .
Sometimes public loos especially in parks etc can be quite daunting you never know who could be lurking there .

Not to mention the underground viewing area.

Re: New Look Loos

One would hope that opacity works both ways. Otherwise it'd be a "handy" place for pervs to "hang out" in whilst watching kiddies playing or scantily dressed adults sunbathing.

They must have cost far more than an ordinary loo to build surely? Can't see the point at all.
The point is, that no one will use them !
Thus keeping them clean??

Re: New Look Loos

There's a full length mirror in Aldi's loo, if that's not off putting enough you can hear the tills bleeping too!
The loos in Wells carpark talk to you saying your time for using it is limited, heaven knows what happens if you stay too long! Perhaps an alarm sounds and the door flies open!

Nope, they're bad enough without being see through ta.

Re: New Look Loos

My son and I were joking about these last night. We said we'd love to surreptitiously watch someone go in, wait for the opacity to start up and then we'd casually walk past, waving and smiling at where we knew the toilet was. We reckon it would really freak out the person using the loo.
