I think the reason they do it is because they can't see anyone, Brandy never did anything like that if I opened the door, she'd greet as a friend anyone there.

The junk mail comapny will get charged again for the postage which makes more money for our great Post Office and may make the junk mail company think twice before sending you stuff.

We always open junk mail and, if there's a pre-paid envelope inside, we use that to return all the bumph they sent us, otherwise our name is removed from the envelope and the rest is recycled along with all the menus, etc.

Oh, Max knows the postman. He is the grandson of Ozzie's owner.
He knows everyone, social fellow that he is.

I did a thread on this, back in January.

I discovered that you could opt out of getting unaddressed. or junk, mail through the letter box.

It was on the Post Office web page:-
