Re: Over 50's Club Scotland (part 3)

We were awoken at 7:10 this morning by the boiler people banging at the door. I know they said they’d be early but not that early! I sent Dh to answer the door, I didn’t want to be seen in ma goonie! The work seems to be progressing well.

My cats take turns to sit in front of the fan heater, Jane. One of them turns himself round so that all sides get toasted equally.

Sorry to hear about the poorly tooth and the bad reaction to the jag. Not fun. My dd is a very, very junior doctor and she had a bad reaction to her second (Pfizer) dose which lasted five or six days.

My jag was all very well organised this morning, apart from the heavens opening as I got there. I feel a bit lightheaded now, not sure if it’s the jag or the rude awakening this morning!

Re: Over 50's Club Scotland (part 3)

Yes I've felt better as the day wore on, I'm back to normal now except for a wee bit of discomfort in the arm but the swelling has gone down a lot. I think it must be a 24 hour thing, but what a 24 hours I got the Oxford vaccine and my date for the next dose is 13th April, 8 weeks away, it's made me uneasy about the next jag but I'll go for it and hope to hell there's not a repeat performance.

Morning - I did post here but the internet in its wisdom, decided to drop the internet for a moment. or two. Just going to repot a few plants today and tidy up. Its too wet and wild for Diva Dog, so I'll be laying the puppy pads out again, until it clears up enough for madam to place her paws outside *sigh*

Morning, Wild, Windy and cold here along with non stop rain all night. Sheeeze getting fed up of this weather. I can't wait to be complaining that it's too hot for me again.
I'm back to normal today and fussing around looking for things to do as I can't get outside. Dog got a short walk much to his disgust but tough I'm not traipsing around getting soaked. Have a nice day ladies..

Re: Over 50's Club Scotland (part 3)

Wet and windy here too. I feel like I've already put in a full working day and all I've done is have a shower and hoovered (most of) the house! I'll have to do some form of exercise before I slump in front of the TV.
Sorry to hear about the big reaction to the second dose of the Pfizer vaccine. I had it last week to absolutely no reaction. Maybe I'll know all about it after the second one. Oh dear.

Good afternoon ladies. Weather is the same here haven't been out the door. Niece coming down for a visit, so I asked her to get me bread and milk.

Re: Over 50's Club Scotland (part 3)

It’s been wild here, too. Lots of flooding from the meltwaters. Luckily, I only needed to make a brief trip out.

Just as well, as I’ve felt pretty rough today. The chills hit me last night just as I went to bed and I woke with a humdinger of a headache this morning. I’ve felt flu-ey and tired all day and have had two granny naps!

Still, eyes on the prize, I hope it’s just the antibodies doing their thing.

PS I’ve just discover the emoticons on here!

Sue I hope how you're feeling doesn't last long, I had the dizziness and nausea and shivering for a day, long enough but worth it if it's going to protect us, i'm still having those naps, but I enjoy them..
