Re: Over 50's Club Scotland (part 3)

Morning May, That's me laid up in bed and bored I turned over during the night and something went. I feel like I've pulled a muscle in my gut, I can hardly move without gasping for breath. Dunc has loaded me up with painkillers and gave me a hot water bottle to rest on it. Must admit it is helping unless I move, then the pain races through me again. He's took Dageus to work with him, just hope he doesn't let him get too dirty.. Did you get a lot of snow?

Morning May, Can't see across the yard for thick fog this morning but it's not freezing so that's good. Another quiet day for me but I am up. Pain has eased a good bit so as long as I go slow I should be OK. After lunch will have a couple of hours on the couch with the hot water bottle.
Have a good day. Byeee

Good Morning Roxy, not a bad one here,a bit dull but dry...have pottered about all morning doing nothing constructive, just one of those days when I can't be bothered, haven't even had breakfast yet!

Glad You're feeling better but I would still have a word with the Doc to find out the cause of Your pain..take it easy and see Ya later.

Re: Over 50's Club Scotland (part 3)

Morning May, Blimey the rain is coming down in sheets, the sea's starting to Rock n Roll, and the Orkney Ferries are on standby to be either delayed or cancelled. Sheeeze what a day. A bit more easier today, it must have been a pulled muscle when I turned over, hurt when I was getting in and out of the car but I kind of expected that as the car is quite high. Home again now and after lunch again on the couch with the hot water bottle..

Hadn't heard about an accident on the Ferries, don't know where it happened but it wasn't up here at Scrabster. Rains eased a bit thank goodness, am away for a spell on the couch with the Hot water bottle now.

Re: Over 50's Club Scotland (part 3)

Footage filmed inside the ferry shows several lorries had toppled like dominos

Emergency services were called to a "major incident" on a ferry from Northern Ireland to Scotland after a number of lorries toppled over.

It happened as "extreme weather conditions" affected the service between Larne and Cairnryan.

Police said the south of Scotland port was likely to be shut for some time and anyone planning on sailing should only travel "if absolutely necessary".

No-one was badly hurt but some people were stuck in their vehicles.

Ferry operator P&O said its 16:30 sailing had been cancelled and it urged affected passengers to call 0800 130 0030 to arrange alternative travel.

This what it was about Roxy.

Aye, saw it on the News eventually, wonder why the ferry sailed in that weather. PnO are not up here, we have the North Link ones. They have the big Viking on their sides. It's drying up at last, went out to the bin and the garden slabs were quite dry. Hoping to get Dageus out for a decent walk tomorrow.
