Koalas coming to Britain.

Six Koalas have been imported from Adelaide in order to ensure their long term future. They will appear at Longleat in 2019 and are the best thing to come from Oz since The Flying Doctors.

The always look so cute but I'm told they are smelly beasts. I'm surprised they need saving tbh I thought Aussies would be able to save them themselves.

I don't think they are endangered exactly the koala population has been devastated over the last hundred years and is currently under threat due to urbanisation and massive, uncontrolled habitat destruction.

Didnt it say on the news that we had no infections or diseases that were making them them ill in Oz...so they can live here in safety knowing they wont be in contact with these diseases/infections

Let's just hope they are kept in quarantine for a while.

It's a shame they have to do this, I don't think they'll like the weather!

I'd love to see a real life koala bear, they are just so cute.
